Pro Wavesport Rider paddling freestyle at peak level proves tricky at best of times so to help me maximise the amount of power I can transfer from my weight throw I need a serious set of blades. This is why I chose to paddle with the Streamlyte Freeway.

They have an aggressive cut with more power than a JCB so for me they are the perfect choice. I have them made super short with a smaller shaft diameter so I can have precision power and also save my wrists from the over grasp pains I get with a normal shaft size. Paddling with Streamlyte paddles gives me the confidence that every stroke will count and if I miss a stroke I have the power for it not to matter too much.

I use the Streamlyte Freeway for whitewater kayaking and a special version of the Freeway for OC1 Freestyle. I know that when I place the blade in the water it has more than enough power, with absolutely no flutter, guaranteeing that vital paddle stroke wherever it might be. I honestly believe these paddles to be stronger and more powerful than all the other leading brand paddles I have tried or owned and would recommend anyone who doesn’t believe me to try them themselves.
